Dr. Joan Feixas
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Feixas holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the
Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He worked at Almirall first as Head of Chemical Development Lab, and later on, as Medicinal Chemistry Team Leader. He then joined Aspentech where he did Business Development in the EMEA region. Dr. Feixas’ business and technical experience is instrumental in strengthening the company position and implementing its strategy.
Mr. Llorenç Rafecas
Founder
Mr. Llorenç Rafecas is a founding partner of Enantia and currently is Technical and Scientific Advisor. He holds a graduate degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and has extensive experience in both theoretical and applied chemistry. Before joining the company, Mr. Rafecas worked for 24 years in a fine chemicals plant of a European pharmaceutical company in a variety of roles, from chief of R&D and production departments to technical manager.
Dr. Rosa Maria Moreno
Chief Operations Officer
Dr. Moreno holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and joined Enantia in 2006 as a Project Manager. Her deep technical knowledge combined with her dedication and organisation skills, led her to be appointed as Operations Manager in September 2016 and later on, in January 2020, as COO.
Dr. Laura Grau
Chief Commercial Officer
Dr. Grau holds a PhD in Experimental and Industrial Organic Chemistry and a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona. She worked as a Medicinal Chemist in Esteve, before joining Enantia at the start of 2018 as Account Manager. Her knowledge in both Organic synthesis as well as Pharmaceutical Development is invaluable to understand and discuss a wide range of customers’ technical challenges.
Dr. Mireia Pastó
Head of Chemical R&D
Dr. Pastó holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a postdoc from the
Max Planck Institute (Germany) under the direction of Professor Reetz. Before joining the company, she worked for four years at the University of Barcelona as an associate teacher. Her experience in synthetic organic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis brings a wealth of experience to the position of Scientific Coordinator in Enantia.
Dr. Nicolas Tesson
Head of Solid State R&D
Dr. Tesson is Enantia’s expert in cocrystallisation and solid form screening. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Paris-Sud University. After a postdoc in the University of Barcelona he joined Enantia as project manager in 2004. After several training events in the solid state field in USA, France and Netherlands, he became the Scientific Coordinator of Solid Forms in 2007, where he brings his expertise in the field of process and pharma cocrystals.
Dr. Montserrat Alcón
Head of QHSE
Dr. Alcón holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and postgraduate diploma in Laboratories Quality Assurance from the University of Barcelona. She joined Enantia when it was founded as Chromatography Manager and Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (QHSA).
